RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At Rehoboth Perfumes, customer satisfaction is at the heart of everything we do. We take great pride in the quality and authenticity of our fragrances, all of which are exclusively sourced from Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, and the Netherlands. We encourage all customers to read this Return and Refund Policy carefully before making a purchase, as it sets out your rights and obligations with respect to returns, exchanges, and refunds.

 

By completing a purchase with Rehoboth Perfumes, you agree to be bound by the terms of this Return and Refund Policy.

 

1. NO RETURNS ON OPENED OR USED PRODUCTS

 

Due to the nature of perfume and fragrance products, Rehoboth Perfumes operates a strict no-return, no-exchange policy on any product that has been opened, used, tested, or had its original seal broken.

 

This policy exists for the following reasons:

         Perfumes and fragrances are personal hygiene and cosmetic products. Once opened or used, they cannot be resold, repackaged, or offered to another customer.

         The integrity, quality, and authenticity of a fragrance cannot be guaranteed once the original factory seal has been broken.

         Health, hygiene, and consumer safety regulations prohibit the resale of opened cosmetic and personal care products.

 

By placing an order with Rehoboth Perfumes, the customer acknowledges and accepts that all sales of opened products are final and non-refundable, with no exceptions unless otherwise required by applicable law.

 

We strongly encourage all customers to carefully review product descriptions, fragrance notes, and any available scent profiles before completing a purchase. Our customer service team is available to assist you in selecting the right fragrance prior to purchase.

 

2. ELIGIBLE RETURNS — UNOPENED PRODUCTS

 

Rehoboth Perfumes will consider a return or exchange request only where the following conditions are met without exception:

         The product is in its original, factory-sealed condition — unopened, unused, and with all original packaging, labels, and seals fully intact.

         The return request is submitted within seven (7) calendar days of the date of purchase or delivery, whichever is later.

         The customer provides valid proof of purchase, such as a receipt, order confirmation, or invoice issued by Rehoboth Perfumes.

         The product has not been damaged, altered, or tampered with in any way by the customer.

 

Rehoboth Perfumes reserves the right to inspect all returned items before processing any refund or exchange. Any product that does not meet the above conditions will not be accepted for return and will be returned to the customer at their expense.

 

3. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

 

If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, defective upon arrival, or different from what you ordered, you must notify Rehoboth Perfumes within forty-eight (48) hours of receipt. To process your claim, you will be required to provide:

         Your order number and proof of purchase

         Clear photographic or video evidence of the damage, defect, or incorrect item

         A brief written description of the issue

 

Upon verification of your claim, Rehoboth Perfumes will, at its discretion, offer one of the following remedies:

         A replacement of the same product, subject to availability

         A store credit equivalent to the purchase price of the affected item

         A full or partial refund, where applicable and at our sole discretion

 

Claims submitted after the 48-hour window will not be entertained, except where required by applicable law. Rehoboth Perfumes will not be held liable for damage caused by mishandling, improper storage, or misuse of the product by the customer after delivery.

 

4. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

 

The following categories of items are strictly non-returnable and non-refundable under any circumstances:

         Any product that has been opened, unsealed, sprayed, or used in any manner

         Products purchased during promotional sales, clearance events, or at a discounted price

         Gift sets or bundled products where any component has been opened or used

         Products that have been specially ordered or customised at the customer's request

         Products returned without original packaging, labels, or proof of purchase

         Products reported after the stipulated return window has elapsed

 

5. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

 

To initiate an eligible return, please follow the steps below:

         Contact our customer service team at returns@rehobothperfumes.com or via our Website within the applicable return window.

         Provide your full name, order number, proof of purchase, and reason for the return request.

         Await confirmation and return authorisation from our team. Do not send any items back without prior written authorisation from Rehoboth Perfumes.

         Once authorised, securely package the item in its original, sealed condition and deliver it to the address provided by our customer service team.

 

Please note that customers are responsible for all return shipping or delivery costs unless the return is a result of an error or defect on the part of Rehoboth Perfumes. We recommend using a trackable delivery method, as Rehoboth Perfumes will not be held responsible for items lost or damaged in transit during a return.

 

6. REFUNDS

 

Where a return is approved, refunds will be processed within seven (7) to fourteen (14) business days of Rehoboth Perfumes receiving and inspecting the returned item. Refunds will be issued via the original payment method used at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

 

Please note the following:

         Original delivery or shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by Rehoboth Perfumes.

         Refunds may take additional time to reflect in your account depending on your bank or payment provider.

         Rehoboth Perfumes reserves the right to deduct a restocking fee of up to fifteen percent (15%) from any approved refund where applicable.

 

7. EXCHANGES

 

Rehoboth Perfumes may, at its discretion, offer an exchange for an unopened product of equal or lesser value. Exchanges are subject to product availability and must meet all conditions outlined in Section 2 of this Policy. Exchanges are not available for opened, used, or previously owned products under any circumstances.

 

8. YOUR STATUTORY RIGHTS

 

Nothing in this Return and Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any statutory rights you may have under applicable consumer protection laws in Uganda or any other applicable jurisdiction. Where your statutory rights provide for a remedy not covered or excluded by this Policy, those rights shall take precedence.

 

If you are uncertain about your rights, we encourage you to seek independent legal advice or contact the relevant consumer protection authority in your jurisdiction.
